2027 Financial Planning: Pressures & Priorities
As local governments prepare their 2027 financial plans, rising costs, competing priorities, and incoming councils and boards are shaping budget discussions. Where is your organization in the planning process, and what pressures are influencing your property tax or requisition increase?
This Quarterly Question also asks what advice finance professionals would offer incoming elected officials about their role in financial planning. Your responses will help GFOABC identify emerging trends, inform future professional development, and support discussions across BC’s local government finance community.
