Every November, GFOABC brings members two full days of professional development covering the range of work local government finance professionals do. Concurrent workshops run each day, so you can build the combination that fits your role.
Each workshop runs 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Continental breakfast and lunch are included with the program fee.

Registration Information
Register early. It is highly recommended that you register as early as possible to avoid workshops being cancelled due to a perceived lack of demand.
Payment: Credit cards will be automatically charged on September 25, 2026. Cheques and Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT) need to be received by September 25, 2026.
Cancellations: Requests to cancel registration will be accepted until noon on September 25, 2026. No refunds after this date.
Transfers: Program attendance is transferable to another person on your team or to another workshop within the same calendar year.
Accommodation: Please book as soon as possible, as spots fill up fast. Room block details are in the Accommodation section below.
Accommodation
A group room block is available at the Coast Coal Harbour Vancouver Hotel by APA, where the workshops are held. Reservations are open now.
Rate: $219 per night, single or double occupancy, plus applicable taxes and fees.
Nights held: November 23 and November 24, 2026.
Booking deadline: Rooms are held until November 2, 2026, or until the block is full, whichever comes first. The block is limited, so please book early.
