GFOABC with the support of KMPG provided members with a series of workshops to address the key steps in preparing to implement PS 3280 Asset Retirement Obligations. The first workshop was held in November 2020. This gave rise to a four-part webinar series which was offered throughout 2021. The four-part series covered scoping, measurement and financial statements & audit issues. In 2022, two in person workshops were offered at the pre-conference sessions in Penticton and at the fall PD session in Vancouver. These sessions presented the same materials as was presented in the 2021 four-part webinar series.
