Christopher Paine is the Director of Financial Services for the District of Oak Bay Director of Finance and CFO for the City of Colwood. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant with over 10 years experience in local government. Christopher has worked in a variety of roles including the Director of Finance and CFO for the City of Colwood, Manager of Revenue for the City of Victoria and Manager of Finance for the District of Central Saanich. Christopher has worked closely with the GFOA for many years to help deliver the collector’s forum and the bootcamp financial reporting seminar. Christopher has also served as a member of the GFOA’s Finance and Admin Committee.
